Vegas City and Decentral Games are excited to present “The Flamingos”, an opportunity to be part of one of the first ‘Mega’ Casino projects in Vegas City. To make this possible, Vegas City is allocating 88 LAND parcels from its district within Decentraland, the virtual world built on the Ethereum blockchain. Decentral Games is providing themed slot machines and soon roulette tables which it has developed using the Decentraland SDK.
This partnership introduces a new NFT concept to market with a token which allows holders to become landlords and earn money by renting the LAND they are leasing to a commercial operation which is set up on the LAND that the token represents.

These leases are organised so the purchaser will not need to make any more lease payments. Future lease payments are covered automatically as part of this. So once the parcel is generating revenue there will always be rent paid to the landlord, and they will not have to do anything. The rent will arrive automatically into their Ethereum wallet.
The token Vegas City has created is an ERC721 compliant NFT which represents the lease of each parcel in The Flamingos Casino. Just as with other NFTs, these tokens may be bought and sold on OpenSea and other third party NFT marketplace sites.

Most of the parcels will be sold initially at a fixed price in the range of 7 ETH to 10 ETH, and a smaller number of tokens representing premium parcels will be auctioned with the bidding starting at 15 ETH.
To ensure a spacious and varied casino environment, 30 parcels of the 88 that are being provided will not be leased and will exist to help create a spectacular and spacious venue with an opulent feel.
